Among the seventies and nineties, in Colombian newspapers like El Siglo , El Espectador, Vanguardia Liberal and, for 18 years, Time, I had permanent sections where commented , reviews, critical or at least cited, the books came from publishers me or my friends known and unknown. Without distinction of any kind-not even the quality-of mention, as I hurried to say something about those objects that inspire me so much respect for the simple fact of existing. One author writes a book never to say you have created something worthy of mention. The comparison is populist books are like children, there is not bad. And in that sense, the reporter should comment on or even mention them without other consideration than his appearance. Because, well, between us, books are like apparitions (which quickly disappeared). And now, ever want to inform (not criticism, of course) on these appearances, in both senses. Two or three lines to say that a crazy wrote and spent a platform to publish his book, if not from a commercial publisher or criteria simply cultural. So I will make with some frequency this section of "All books" now appearing more books and authors. You qualify. And that is a tribute to poet Roger Echavarria, who for many years, Time also devoted his life to review "Cover and lapels."
