is a beautiful book, because it gives us another dimension (complementary) the great and immense Alejo Carpentier we knew. Are 138 letters to his mother, Lina Valmont, written from the boat when going to Paris, between the years 1926-1937, when he begins to live off their writings, their reviews, criticism, reviews, about books and authors, and live the hardships and the rewards of voluntary and involuntary exile. It's amazing how at that age and Carpentier had in mind a whole world of literature, music, film, artistic, cultural and political. And how he writes! The compilation was supported by the Fundación Alejo Carpentier and it involved people like Rafael Rodríguez Beltrán (translation and foreword), Graziella Pogolotti, Blanca Zabala (editor) and Araceli García-Carranza, among many. Is the origin or first Carpentier, but it is the meet in his vast narrative and commentator on all the arts, including those just beginning or the vanguards of them. Interlinings with their family and their feelings positions toward bilingualism and the claim against the Latin American world. (I thank you for sending the book, inconseguible in Colombia, the poet, writer and essayist, director of the ICAIC in Havana, Omar Gonzalez, who should I call my long-standing Carpenter).

clarification that this is the First anthology of the prose poem Colombia, and therefore is out of the ordinary. It is a friendly, curious and very serious text on a category widely used but little theorized: the poem continued, as I said Juan Ramón Jiménez. The poem with lines that are diluted in the horizontal chain and written with the intent of the poem (or if Rivera would, too, with The Vortex, a novel with so much poetry). But poetic prose, or so much narrative poeticized. Yezzed Baron Fredy López (Bogotá, 1979), or Yezzed, as we all think he is a poet and writer, with several awards to his credit (of the Daytime, the Ministry of Culture, Bogota, that of Metropolitana de Barranquilla "I won a year ago, with two books of poetry published, a graduate of La Salle, the Javeriana University, and lives in Buenos Aires, where he won the Poetry Macedonio Fernandez last year. He himself has a book of poetry prose salt madness. Who Yezzed included in his anthology? Between 1969 and 2010, Benhur Sánchez Suárez (1946) has published a dozen books, including novels, short stories and essays. Some of them internacioanales recognition as The body (1975), finalist in the Premio Planeta novel. A year ago in the International Book Fair of Bogota, introduced a new novel, Bon voyage, General , which became one of the best-selling books by the new editorial, Hunt Book, Pablo Pardo. Volume of the back cover, as I finish reading the novel, the main details of her: "In eleven chapters, divided into four narrative levels, Benhur Sánchez Suárez us in this novel, the heroism and tragedy of the general Tulio Varon, liberal hero of the War of the Thousand Days. " Tulio Varon has always been a mythical figure in the culture and the novelist laboyano tolimense proposed, from a journalist who investigates the life of the guerrilla liberal, blending reality and fantasy, as in real life the forgotten Tulio Varon, recreate their lives to let in the light of contemporary readers. I think Bon voyage, General of Benhur Sánchez Suárez was one of the most important novels published in Colombia. One more point in his renowned novel and recovery of these myths that the official story has been misinterpreted to clear over time.
